Shell Jewellery

I have always found the natural beauty of shells both fascinating and appealing.

In my early days I often enjoyed combing the beaches in Dorset, with my family,

running over to display my newly-found treasures.

Although I am sure they were probably dreaming of a hot cup of tea instead, they never failed to seem just as thrilled as I was by my never-ending collection of shells.

In this fast-paced and often stressful world it is easy to forget the simple pleasures of childhood and of our natural world.

And so these pieces are my little way of paying homage to the hours spent by so many of us as children (and parents) on beaches - usually in the rain!!
